International Alloy Designations at a Glance

About Teal Sheets

The list of alloy designations registered with the Aluminum Association, including their approved chemical composition limits, represents the global de facto standard for wrought aluminium alloys. European designations and their classification into alloy groups are homologated with this list, ensuring full traceability between continents. Teal Sheets is a standalone database that compiles more than 500 internationally registered wrought aluminium alloys. Users can inspect the chemical composition, origin and standard status of every grade and navigate quickly between standards and product forms. This creates a single point of truth for aluminium experts, procurement teams and research departments.

Teal Sheets Highlights

Built on Matplus EDA®, the database offers advanced search, analysis and reporting capabilities.

Interactive Data Analysis

Comparison tables can be filtered, rearranged and visualized in interactive graphs. Each click opens the linked alloy data set for deeper review.

Comprehensive Information

Densities, chemical compositions and additional metadata such as physical properties or CAS numbers enrich every dataset for confident decision making.

Flexible Usage

Switch between languages and engineering units at any time. All insights are available both in German and English.

Knowledge Management

Use Teal Sheets as the backbone for your own knowledge management system and share curated alloy selections within your organisation.

Two Databases on One Platform

Teal Sheets and AluSelect

Teal Sheets and AluSelect are two independent databases, both available on the aluminium.matplus.eu platform. Teal Sheets covers the registered alloy designations and their chemical composition limits, while the free reference database AluSelect provides mechanical, physical and chemical properties of 35 wrought and 12 cast alloys.

Access to Teal Sheets

Matplus is a partner of the Aluminum Association and provides Teal Sheets as an EDA®-based online database on the aluminium.matplus.eu platform.
