The way to find missing information about materials: Calculate material information quickly and easily instead of searching for it laboriously. JMatPro® is the leading system for calculating the properties of metallic materials – the new JMatPro® Version 16 is now available!

Properties can be calculated with analytical accuracy for metallic structural materials that are important in industrial applications, such as steels, aluminum, copper, and nickel. This includes important temperature-dependent data that is rarely available in standards and classic material databases. This allows FEM calculations to be performed more precisely and quickly.

Material simulation with JMatPro is based on a solid, scientifically proven foundation (CalPhAD) and has been increasingly used in industry and research for more than 20 years. The new version 16 offers a range of enhancements that meet the practical requirements of users, e.g., enhancements for:

  • Calculations of flow curves for forming simulation for Cu alloys
  • Calculations of high-temperature strength for Mg casting alloys
  • Transformation diagrams (TTT) for Ti alloys (including tempered conditions)
  • Tempering of different hardness microstructures in steels
  • Freely definable cooling curves for solidification simulation
  • Precipitation hardening for heat-treatable steels and stainless steels

These extensions are also used to expand the material cards calculated with JMatPro for simulation, e.g., in Ansys, Abaqus, Qform, Comsol, Simufact, and many more.

The additional programming interface (API) enables the effective integration of JMatPro into your own programs, e.g., industrial control systems. The Material Property Optimizer (MPO) is available for optimizing materials—identifying the best analyses and processes in large solution spaces.

„The great thing about JMatPro is that it is easy to use without any training,“ confirms Aleksei Seregin, research assistant at Matplus. „The range of calculation options is overwhelming and focused on practical applicability.“
